Article Writing: The Elements of Content, Purpose, and Style
Words are the tools with which a writer builds his imaginations and thoughts. Without words, it is impossible to create a masterpiece that all roots from great ideas, feelings and emotions. But such a description will bear expansion. First, is there a difference between writing articles online and writing in print media? As to the medium used and reader influence, yes there are distinctions between the two. But if you will try to analyze everything, English as the universal language used in almost all contents remain in English, just as law is law, science is science, and man is man.
In article writing especially when you’re posting and submitting it online, it is important that you have the following things in mind:
1.Content – Depending on the type of product you choose to market or services you opt to offer, your content must have a close relationship with that of the product/service you’re trying to advertise. In writing an article, the substance must not contain contrasting information. If you’re marketing weight loss products, do not write contents about entertainment, arts, or automotive parts. That is totally off-topic. If you’re taking online money making seriously, you should predominantly focus on your content and the connections you make between your products or services.
2.Establish your purpose or aim – The purpose of writing articles for the web as a way to make money is simple, it is to have something done right away: to evoke some information and have immediate responses or actions from readers. If you know your purpose, your written works can easily call attention to vast readers online.
3.The style – Writing an article needs to have a specific style. If you’re writing for the web, the style must be direct, simple, individual, and personal. Finesse of expression doesn’t have a place in online marketing, but rather depth of impression. It is much easier to convey message to readers if the expressions are made simpler and easier to understand. Keep in mind, simple and easy expressions eliminate misunderstanding and puts off delayed business transactions.
